nascar

This was my first time ever shooting NASCAR...or any huge car racing event for that matter. It was crazy. Loud, hot, busy, intense, etc. I had fun though, a great learning experience on huge event coverage. Things like this are hard for me...so much going on, things moving quickly...time running out...to add to all that you have to walk very far to get to different parts of the track. However, the staffers here did amazing work. One of the things I love about DMN is being able to peek over the shoulders of shooters here while they edit work...it's awesome/humbling.

Woke up to a photo page...Few things make as happy as a photo page. Basset hounds are one of those things.

Nice job isolating moments in such chaos. It's all that more rewarding to see it turn out in a spread like that.
