For a feature on high school sports summer training...

I've been working on my hail mary shots, because I'm always way off. Some photogs here are awesome at the hail mary, they told me to practice, practice, practice...

What's hail mary? I like the picture a lot, by the way.

Ikuru, I'm glad you like the picture. A Hail Mary is when you basically hold the camera out at an arms length above or to the side of your head and aim the lens down at your subject. It's tough to get really accurate, but it can make for some really interesting frames, and it usually helps clean up backgrounds because your angle tends to be high.
