Week 5
In other news .. I won first place in Hearst! I won for the news/sports catagory, so now I'm one of 12 people qualified for the National Semi-Finals. I have to put together a portfolio and if I make the cut, I'll be one of 6 photographers headed to San Francisco for the Hearst National Championship Shoot-Out. Sweet.

I was on a night shift this week, so I mostly covered prep sports. Here are some action photos...we usually run 2-4 at the Chronicle per game, so armed with strobes and pocket wizards, I'm trying to get better at action shots.
