Abel Ndayihaya.

Devout Christian Abel Ndayihaya spent last Christmas in a small tent with his wife and five sons in a refugee camp in Tanzania, where he had been living as a Burundian refugee for 35 years. Ten months ago, the family immigrated to America and moved to the Fredericksburg area. This year Abel celebrated his first Christmas in America, with a new home, a new job and a newborn addition to the family. I documented Abel and his family for a day and spent a bit of time with Abel at his job. This ran on Christmas Day in our region section with a fantastic layout. I'll post it as soon as I get the PDF's. They're wonderful people. Here is a link to the story.

I am a huge fan of the stairs pictures, and am impressed by the story as a whole. Amazing work. After our conversation, I'm so happy to see you coming out in full force.
