salvation

First day, first assignment...had a shot I liked. A sad story though. This ran secondary to a photo of people cleaning up the mess, respectably.

Salvation Army store manager Sharon Schweining watches as employees clean up ravaged donation bags outside of the store in Fredericksburg on May 27, 2008. Many items were stolen over the Memorial Day weekend, most of the discarded materials left behind are now unfit for sale in the store. "It's actually very sad when you think about it," Schweining said. "It's just taking revenue away from what we can put out into the community."
