.attempt II.

Here is my edit for my One-Day story for picture story class. I followed Leslie Cunningham, the a 65-year-old owner of the only service station in Bunceton, Mo., population 350. The idea of this assignment was to shoot a quick story with an editorial concept in mind. I had some ideas and attempts with more event based stuff, but I decided to challenge myself and photograph something more subtle in an attempt to grow and tell a story of something different from event coverage, which I've done before. My editorial idea was to tell the story of this man's quiet life behind the pump in a small town.

Layout. Part of this assignment was to make a five picture layout on a newspaper type broadsheet with captions, headlines, etc.

Here are some other shots I liked that didn't make the final edit.
